Welcome to Dare To Know!
We understand that your heart wants to know what the Catholic Church really teaches, so that you can be a better parent, a better spouse, and a better citizen. That is what the Dare To Know series is all about.
It’s more than just a class; it’s an encounter.
With Dare To Know, you learn the faith in a way that matters to you. Each class provides an exciting, light-hearted, engaging presentation of Church teaching. But it doesn’t end there. The Dare to Know program invites you to make it your own, through a living relationship with the presenter, with others in the class, and, most of all, with God.
Each Dare To Know presentation will be followed by plenty of social time (food and beverage included) to build relationships with other Catholics, ask follow-up questions, and explore how the material presented relates to your life and unique set of circumstances.
For those of you who don’t live in the Charleston area (and those of you who simply want to dive more deeply into the material presented and friendships formed), you can visit DareToKnowCommunity.com. In the future we will make available audio of the presentations, a forum in which to ask questions, and the opportunity to meet other people who are seeking a stronger relationship with God just like you are.
Presenter Dan Lord (in partnership with his wife, Hallie Lord) has the encouragement of Bishop Robert Guglielmone, of local pastors, and of friends and fellow Christians everywhere. We are extremely excited to finally be bringing this project to fruition!
